ACEA Bolsters Leadership for EV Transition with Two Senior Appointments

The European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) has bolstered its leadership with two senior appointments. Maria Linkova-Nijs and Andreas Klugescheid bring extensive experience to their new roles, as the industry navigates a significant shift towards battery-electric vehicles.

Maria Linkova-Nijs, a seasoned public affairs and policy communications professional with over 15 years of experience, will helm ACEA's Policy and Strategy department. She will ensure the strategic alignment of ACEA's activities during this transformative period.

Andreas Klugescheid, who has spent over two decades at BMW, including stints in the United States and Latin America, joins ACEA as the Chief Strategic Foresight and Engagement Officer. He will focus on developing strategic partnerships and leading thought-leadership projects.

Both appointments come as ACEA's secretariat evolves to tackle the challenges ahead of the European elections.
