AI Doc Processor Mindee Exits Stealth, Raises $14M for U.S., Europe Expansion
Mindee, a San Francisco-based startup specialising in AI-powered document processing, has emerged from stealth mode, securing $14 million in Series A funding. The company, founded in 2018, plans to use this investment to expand its team and operations across the U.S. and Europe.
Since January 2021, Mindee has seen remarkable growth, doubling its workforce. Currently, the company employs individuals across France, Canada, and the U.S. With plans to reach 30 employees by the end of the year, Mindee is set to further bolster its team.
The funding round was led by GGV Capital, with support from Alven, Serena Capital, and Bpifrance. Mindee's AI technology uses machine learning algorithms to analyse document images, extracting relevant data from a variety of sources, including expense management, accounting, and loan applications. The company aims to expand its platform technologies with this investment.
Mindee, founded by Olivier Zlotnik, has shown significant growth since its inception in 2018. With the recent Series A funding, the company plans to expand its team and operations, further developing its AI and platform technologies to streamline document processing across various industries.
