Alfa-Bank teams up with BILINE to roll out collaborative anti-cybercrime service

Beeline and Alfa Bank have commenced the integration of their support services, allowing mutual customers to more swiftly prevent fraudulent activities and enhance security. In instances where an operator identifies potential need for bank assistance during customer consultation, the call will be directly routed to Alfa Bank's customer service.

This joint service, accessible via the 6+ number, enables customers to save time and minimize risks by eliminating the need to make separate calls and repeat their circumstances to the bank. As the issue is immediately relayed to the bank, the response time to potential fraud is expedited, reducing the likelihood of financial losses. Both support services operate 24/7, offering constant protection to customers. Regardless of the method through which SMS codes may have been obtained, the service remains functional. If a client inadvertently shares these codes with third parties, they will be promptly redirected to Alfa Bank to mitigate fraud.

The service is currently available to all Beeline and Alfa Bank customers.

Piotr Alferev, Anti-Fraud Director at Beeline, stated, "In the initial four months of 2025, more than 33,000 individuals sought assistance from our rapid response team, with over 4,900 cases pertaining to bank account hacking. When confronted with fraud, especially bank account hacking, each minute matters. Now, instead of two calls, there's one. Instead of repetitive explanations, there's instant help. This isn't merely a service, it's a shield we've built with Alfa Bank to instill the notion that customer security is a shared responsibility. This service not only saves time but also acts proactively – it instantly transmits alert signals to the bank, thus minimizing risks. This represents a new standard of customer care, where technology and collaborative efforts work towards providing peace of mind."

Evgeny Vinokurov, Head of Alfa Bank's Cyber Fraud Prevention Directorate, added, "Telephone fraud poses a significant threat that is familiar to almost everyone. To effectively combat it, not just a specific company needs to prepare but there should be a combined effort. Our collaboration with Beeline is a step in the right direction. I am convinced that similar endeavors will become a sustainable trend in the financial market."
