Amazon Unveils Revamped Fire TV Range with Alexa+ and Automatic Room Detection
Amazon is revamping its Fire TV range, unveiling new models including the Fire TV 4 and Fire TV 2 Series, Fire TV Omni QLED Series, and the Fire TV Stick 4K Select. The new devices boast enhanced features like Alexa+ support and automatic room detection.
The revamped Fire TV models will be Alexa ready, enabling voice interactions even without the remote. The Fire TV Stick 4K Select, priced under $40 in the US and £50 in the UK, is the fastest in the range. It runs on Amazon's new Vega OS, offering improved performance.
The Fire TV Omni QLED Series models stand out with Omnisense, allowing the TV to turn on automatically when a user enters the room. Preorders for these models are open in the US, with UK preorders for the Fire TV 4K Select starting in October. The Fire TV Stick 4K Select will hit German stores on October 15, 2025, priced at €54.99.
Amazon's refreshed Fire TV lineup brings enhanced features and performance. With Alexa+ support, improved OS, and automatic room detection, these devices aim to elevate the streaming experience. Preorders are open in the US, with UK and German releases scheduled for later this year.
