Android testing opportunities now open for Google Pixel 10 users

Google has recently released an update for its Pixel 10 series of smartphones, aimed at improving performance, enhancing security, and resolving a long-standing display issue.

The update, focused on performance and security improvements, also addresses the "fuzzy" display issue that has been a cause for concern for many Pixel 10 users. This problem, which caused displays to glitch for a few minutes or until the phone was restarted, has been a widely reported issue.

Google has made the update available for Pixel 10 devices, which can be found listed on the Android Program page. Users can start signing up for the Android 16 QPR2 Beta 1, the latest test version that was rolled out earlier this week.

In addition to this, Google has expanded the Android Beta Program FAQ to include the entire Pixel 10 lineup, ranging from the Pixel 6 series to the current Pixel 10. This move allows consumers with a Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, and 10 Pro Fold to sign up for the current and future Android 16 QPR beta tests.

Reports suggest that the latest models of Google Pixel can get in on current and upcoming betas. The Android 16 QPR2 Beta 1 has been rolled out, and users can find information and a guide on Google's beta program page to sign up.

This development, though silent, has not gone unnoticed by Google Pixel owners. In fact, users on the GooglePixel subreddit have noticed this development.

The new test build of Android 16 QPR includes a dark theme expansion across Android, auto-themed icons, and new developer APIs. This build is expected to evolve into Google's December drop for Android, with the next Android 16 QPR beta version expected in December, leading up to the final QPR2 release.

This update and the expansion of the Android Beta Program FAQ are significant steps in Google's commitment to continuous improvement and user satisfaction. Stay tuned for more updates on this development.
