In the heart of Paderborn, Germany, a tech startup named Tenderflow is making waves in the business world. Founded in 2025 by Lars Lammers and Tobias Graf, Tenderflow is revolutionising the way small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) approach public tenders.

Tenderflow operates like an order app, allowing businesses to set up a profile, enter a few criteria, and receive daily matching tenders. The platform's AI technology reads and extracts tender requirements, clearly stating whether a tender is worth pursuing based on the company's profile and specifications.

This innovative approach to public tenders could be a game-changer for SMEs, who often find the complex and bureaucratic tendering processes challenging. Tenderflow aims to make public contracts accessible to these businesses, streamlining the process and making it as simple as online shopping.

Markus Hartmann, a board member of HARTMANN TRESORE, a medium-sized company, is already reaping the benefits of Tenderflow. Hartmann found the platform effective, resulting in four relevant tenders within two weeks. He is also a business angel who supports Tenderflow and is a user of the platform.

Tenderflow is not just simplifying the process; it's automating it. The goal is to fully automate the submission of offers, allowing companies to submit a complete offer with a single click. This automation could save businesses significant amounts of time and reduce errors in bid preparation.

The European market for public tenders is vast, with around 2 trillion euros flowing into public tenders annually, which is approximately 15% of what is produced annually in the EU in terms of goods and services. Tenderflow's ambition is to become the European market standard, revolutionising the tendering process across the continent.

The Tenderflow team currently consists of three employees, but is expected to grow to 14 employees by the end of 2026. The founders, Lars Lammers and Tobias Graf, bring startup experience and expertise in tech and AI to the table, ensuring the platform continues to evolve and meet the needs of its users.

With Tenderflow, the world of public tenders is becoming more accessible and efficient for SMEs, opening up new opportunities and fostering growth in the European economy.

Other businesses in the technology sector are observing Tenderflow's progress, intrigued by its potential impact on finance. The automation of the submission process could revolutionize the way SMEs handle their financial resources, as it promises to save time and reduce errors.
