Audemat MC6 receives expansion with fresh modules from WorldCast
WorldCast Systems has announced the release of a new software version (1.3) for its FM and DAB+ testing and measurement platform, the Audemat MC6. This update introduces two new software modules designed to streamline lab workflows, support automated testing, and enhance equipment calibration [1][2].
One of the key features in this update is the precise signal generator module. This module allows users to generate analog, AES audio, and MPX signals, making it ideal for calibration, generation, and alignment of broadcast equipment [3].
Another significant addition is the automatic lab measurement module. This feature provides insights into signal behavior and comes with tools such as distortion analysis and oscilloscope functions. The remote control via Telnet in this module makes it suitable for factory acceptance testing, automated test benches, and other applications [4].
The new modules in the software update are also available for purchase and activation via a license key. Existing users with an active service contract will find the upgrade included in their package [5].
WorldCast will be demonstrating the new release for Audemat MC6 at the IBC Show booth (8C61) [6]. This upgrade strengthens the MC6’s role not only as a mobile tool for DAB+, FM, and audio measurements but also as a critical component in automated production testing and quality control processes.
