Autocrrypt and Cohda Wireless Collaborate for Secure Vehicle-to-Everything Communication
In a groundbreaking move for the industry, AUTOCRYPT and Cohda Wireless have announced a partnership to develop a comprehensive V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) software stack for automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier-1 suppliers. The collaboration was officially sealed at CES 2024, with both companies sharing a vision of a safe and seamless Connected Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) ecosystem for all road users.
As a global leader in V2X technology, Cohda Wireless boasts advanced software stacks supporting both 802.11p and C-V2X protocols. The company's solutions have undergone extensive compliance and interoperability testing, accumulating over one million vehicle-days of field testing.
On the other hand, AUTOCRYPT, a pioneer in automotive cybersecurity, brings over a decade of experience and expertise in securing V2X connectivity to the table. The company's offerings include a security library for end entities, a V2X PKI platform with misbehaviour detection, and an integrated management dashboard for SCMS operations.
The partnership between these two industry giants is a global first, aiming to provide customized solutions to clients across the globe. The collaboration will see AUTOCRYPT's V2X security library, AutoCrypt V2X-EE, integrated into the overall V2X software stacks of Cohda Wireless.
AUTOCRYPT's CEO, Daniel ES Kim, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, "We are thrilled to partner with Cohda Wireless to develop a secure V2X solution stack.
