These advancements collectively enhance the safety, reliability, and adaptability of autonomous vehicles, moving closer to the goal of reducing human error—the leading cause of road accidents—while preparing for a future of fully autonomous mobility [1][2][3].

By enabling vehicles to detect and respond to hazards faster than human reflexes, adapting to complex environments, enhancing driver monitoring, lowering latency and increasing reliability, and meeting emerging safety standards and regulatory requirements, computer vision technology is set to revolutionise the way we travel, fostering a safer and more efficient future on our roads.
