Bell & Ross, known for its aviation-inspired timepieces, has expanded its BR-05 collection with the introduction of the BR-05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic. This latest addition offers a sleek, modern design inspired by stealth aircraft technology.
The BR-05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic features a fully blacked-out "Phantom" aesthetic, with black lume and black-finished hands and hour markers, creating a stealthy, monochromatic look with no contrasting elements on the dial. This design choice gives the watch a subtle and sophisticated appearance, perfect for everyday wear.
The dial surface of the BR-05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic is made of tinted sapphire crystal, revealing the BR-CAL.322-1 automatic movement underneath while maintaining the dark aesthetic. This in-house caliber, built on the Sellita SW300 architecture, boasts a power reserve of 54 hours and runs at 28,800vph.
The case of the BR-05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic is crafted from black ceramic, offering advantages such as lightweight construction, superior scratch resistance, and a great canvas for colour design. The case measures 41mm in diameter and 11.2mm in thickness, with striking visual nuance from brushed and polished elements.
The watch is available with either a black ceramic integrated bracelet or a black rubber strap, both with black PVD-treated stainless steel folding clasps. The integrated bracelet, made of black ceramic, adds to the watch's sleek appearance. The BR-05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic is priced at $8,900 on the rubber strap or $9,800 with the matching ceramic bracelet.
The Phantom model prioritizes a stealthy, all-black aesthetic with black lume and minimal contrast, while previous Skeleton Black Ceramic models maintained white or green lume for better legibility and a bit more visual contrast on the dial.
The BR-05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic is limited to 500 pieces. This limited edition timepiece is now available from Bell & Ross' authorized dealers and their website.
