Sinclair Broadcast Group Appoints Billy Robbins as Vice President of Station Sales Operations
Sinclair Broadcast Group, a leading broadcast company in the United States, has announced the appointment of Billy Robbins as the Vice President of Station Sales Operations. This is a newly created role within the company.
Robbins will be responsible for leading the day-to-day sales efforts across Sinclair's broadcast stations as part of AMP Sales and Marketing Solutions. His primary focus will be on driving growth, improving efficiency, and streamlining operations in the ad-sales unit. He reports directly to Ryan Moore, Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer.
Robbins brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having spent over 19 years with Sinclair. He joined the company in 2003 as General Sales Manager in Baltimore and was later elevated to Station Manager and then Vice President and General Manager in 2021. His most recent role was as Vice President and General Manager of Sinclair's Baltimore stations, WBFF/WNUV/EBFF.
Robbins' deep understanding of Sinclair's station operations is a key asset in his new role. His track record of delivering results throughout his career at Sinclair is expected to be instrumental in aligning sales teams, optimizing processes, and enhancing performance across the company’s sales operations.
