Business collaborations take center stage at this year's Japan Mobility Show
The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) has announced the return of the Japan Mobility Show (JMS) for its 2024 edition. Originally known as the Tokyo Motor Show, the event will now focus on showcasing new technologies, products, services, and business models related to mobility, with an emphasis on contributing to the sustainable development of society in line with Society 5.0, an initiative promoting a super-smart society integrating cyberspace and physical space.
Chairman Masanori Katayama (Isuzu) revealed that this year's JMS will serve as a co-creation platform for 150 startups and 50 established companies, fostering new businesses through collaboration among companies from diverse industries and business sectors. Chairman Toyoda made comments during a "big recap" on the event's final day, expressing the desire to bring together various groups of people.
