Celonis & Volkswagen to Discuss Process-Led Supply Chain Transformation

Celonis' Julian Thompßon and Volkswagen's Dominik Heinisch are set to discuss process-led supply chain transformation at an Automotive Logistics event on April 25. The discussion comes as Celonis works with VW to optimize production processes using process mining.

Celonis, a process mining software company, is helping Volkswagen identify and rectify inefficiencies in its supply chain. The company's Global Head of Automotive and Manufacturing, Julian Thompßon, will discuss this collaboration and the broader topic of process-driven transformation at an upcoming event.

VW's Industrial Cloud interconnects all its factories and supply chain, facilitating data interchange and process optimization. This aligns with Gestamp's advanced Industry 4.0 strategies, which emphasize federated networks and superior data quality. BMW has already seen success with Celonis, improving performance through over 1,100 process automations and over 450 data models.

Process mining's role in enhancing automotive supply chain efficiency and resilience will also be discussed at the Automotive Logistics and Supply Chain Digital Strategies North America conference in Nashville on June 26-27. Meanwhile, Jaguar Land Rover is building a new digital landscape on data, with five layers of digital architecture.

The automotive industry is embracing process mining and digitalization to optimize supply chains. With Celonis and Volkswagen leading the way, and upcoming events discussing these advancements, the future of automotive logistics looks more efficient and connected than ever.
