Noki Noki, a logistics company based in Congo, has successfully secured $3 million in seed funding. The investment round was led by Uma Ventures, a well-known venture capital firm that supports Early Stage Venture, Late Stage Venture, and Seed Ventures throughout Africa.
Founded in 2021 by Jonathan Yanghat, Noki Noki offers a variety of logistic services. These include Noki Food for meal delivery, Noki Drive for supermarket shopping, and Noki Pay, an integrated payment interface for its delivery services.
The investment marks a significant step in Noki Noki's growth and development, and the company plans to use the funds to expand its operations in new regions, specifically in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This expansion is expected to boost the company's growth and market presence in the region, and potentially create new job opportunities in the logistics sector.
Noki Noki's logistic services are currently available in six markets, and the expansion will aim to strengthen the company's footprint in the DRC. The new injection of funds will not only help Noki Noki expand its operations in the DRC but also in its existing six markets.
