Logitech Unveils the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike and G515 Rapid Keyboard at G Play Event

Logitech, a leading manufacturer of gaming peripherals, has announced two new products at its G Play event: the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike and Logitech G515 Rapid keyboard.

The Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike is a significant leap forward in gaming mouse technology, featuring a new haptic inductive trigger system (HITS) replacing traditional switches. This innovation improves click latency by decreasing the travel distance required to send the click signal, providing a more responsive gaming experience. The mouse also supports up to 8 kHz polling rate and boasts a battery life of about 90 hours. Weighing in at just 65g, the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike is being marketed as one of the best gaming mice available.

Priced at around €179.99, the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike is designed for professional eSports players and casual gamers alike, offering 10 selectable actuation steps, allowing players to adjust the click speed to suit their needs.

In contrast, the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2c is a compact, lighter (51g) version of the Superlight 2. Maintaining a battery life of about 95 hours, the Superlight 2c uses the HERO 2 sensor with up to 44,000 DPI and the LIGHTSPEED wireless connection. Priced at about $160, the Superlight 2c is already available for purchase. While it lacks the new click technology of the Superstrike, it offers smaller dimensions and improved weight, making it a popular choice among gamers.

The Logitech G515 Rapid keyboard, priced at $169.99, delivers quick 2.5 mm travel and offers magnetic analog switches. It is launching soon and can be purchased from Logitech.com. One eSports competitor, Caps, a mid-lane League of Legends player, stated that the extra speed felt like the difference between playing on LAN versus the internet.

Logitech's Superstrike technology is described as a significant breakthrough in an area that doesn't get a lot of new innovations. The Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike and G515 Rapid keyboard are the latest additions to Logitech's impressive lineup of gaming peripherals, further solidifying their position as a leader in the industry. Both the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike and G515 Rapid keyboard were announced at Logitech's G Play event, which took place recently. The Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike is set to launch in October, while the Logitech G515 Rapid keyboard will be available soon.
