Dalek Designs Being Crafted by Plotterbot

Hittin' the Nerd Faire with the Plotterbot Mark II

Caught up with a sweet drawing machine named Plotterbot at the recent Maker Faire. This bad boy was churning out Daleks, leaving us no choice but to take notice.

The Mark II is the upgraded version, cannibalizing its predecessor, the Mark I, for parts. Too bad we don't got the scoop on what sets these two apart.

The Plotterbot is a sleek setup. It's got a wall-hanging box, packing a motor-spool combo at each end. The Arduino Mega resides in the middle, equipped with a custom driver shield. Its SD card slot holds your drawing files, while the touchscreen display lets you pick your paper target below the unit.

Remember the Trinket contest? Good ol' [Jay] showed up with the Plotterbot, drawing a Skull and Wrenches masterpiece made from smaller versions of the same. How cool is that, eh? [Jay] graciously presented the art to us at the Faire. Cheers, [Jay]!

Back during Trinket contest days, the Plotterbot embellished its creations with intricate Skull and Wrenches designs. You can bet they turned quite a few heads, creating a perfect blend of technology and artistry. Want more? Hit up the contest organizers or participants for the lowdown on the artwork.

When it comes to tech devices evolving, it's common to see improvements in precision, speed, software capabilities, or hardware components from one version to the next. But since we're short on deets, we can't fully break down the differences between the Plotterbot Marks I and II. Keep an open eye for more tidbits in future!

The Plotterbot Mark II, showcased at the Maker Faire, is adorned with gadgets like a touchscreen display, an Arduino Mega, and motor-spool combos, incorporating technology and artificial-intelligence in its design. Reminiscing about the past, remember how Jay wowed us with the Plotterbot's intricate Skull and Wrenches drawings at the Trinket contest, perfectly fusing art and gadgetry.
