Norton Rose Fulbright Launches LX Studio: A Subsidiary Embracing Legal Innovation and Digital Transformation
In a bold move to revolutionize the legal industry, global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has launched LX Studio, a US-based subsidiary dedicated to fostering legal innovation and digitally-driven services [1].
LX Studio's purpose is to transcend traditional legal advice, providing clients with knowledge, strategy, and tools that empower them to maximize their intellectual and creative assets while navigating competitive and regulatory landscapes [1].
Christy Bentz, the Chief Client Value & Innovation Officer, expressed a desire to collaborate more intentionally with clients on service solutions, with LX Studio providing the platform for this [2]. Gina Shishima, the Chief Strategy and Operations Partner, emphasized that LX Studio is part of the unending evolution of the business and practice of law [3].
LX Studio will house some of Norton Rose Fulbright's existing technology products, including the award-winning privacy compliance tool suite NT Analyzer [4]. It will also develop products and services for use by the firm's lawyers and clients, including legal operations solutions for corporate legal departments [5].
The subsidiary will collaborate with legal technology companies, alternative legal services providers, and may partner with or invest in novel technologies to further position Norton Rose Fulbright to build, co-develop, and partner with clients on personalized service solutions [6].
LX Studio's initiatives are designed to support clients in achieving their legal and business objectives efficiently [7].
