In 2024, Krasnodar demonstrated exemplary progress in the application of public-private partnerships (PPPs) within Russia, securing the top position in this sector's development. This recognition was bestowed by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

The Krasnodar region marked a significant milestone last year, with the signing of five concession deals totaling 23.8 billion roubles in investment. Private investors accounted for a considerable portion of this, contributing 20.8 billion roubles. The region consequently stood 8th among all Russian regions in terms of PPP development.

Of particular relevance, two concession agreements were inked in the Tikhoretsk district for the improvement of its housing and utilities sector. These contracts aim to modernize heating and water supply facilities, ultimately promoting system dependability, efficiency, and environmental sustainability by minimizing losses and enhancing service quality.
