Don't forget to join our DigiByte (DGB) trading contest on Bitpanda!
In an exciting turn of events, Bitpanda, the popular European cryptocurrency platform, recently hosted a DigiByte trading competition. The event, which ran from the 17th of February to the 24th of February, saw numerous traders participate in trading DigiByte (DGB) on the platform.
The competition, held in Central European Time (CET), had a series of rewards for the top performers. The trader in the first place was awarded an impressive 20,000 DGB, while those ranked between 2nd to 5th place received 12,500 DGB each. The traders ranked between 6th to 10th with the highest total amount of DGB traded on the platform were also in for a treat, as each of them will receive 6,000 DGB.
However, it's important to note that the residents of the Republic of Turkey were excluded from being selected as VIP-Winners due to the legal requirements of their country.
As a bonus prize, twenty-five randomly selected users who are not residents of the Republic of Turkey, have a BEST VIP level 1 or above, and traded any amount of DGB during the competition on the platform, will receive €80 worth of Bitcoin ("BTC") each. The winners will be credited within one week to their Bitpanda DGB wallet.
DigiByte (DGB), the cryptocurrency at the centre of this competition on the platform, is known for its speed in payment transactions. It's based on a three-layer blockchain, enabling smart contracts and various applications. The currency uses the UTXO (unspent transaction output) transaction model and five different cryptographic algorithms for decentralization, making it one of the most decentralized blockchains on the platform.
Bitpanda also announced that they will make every possible effort to fully integrate DGB (enabling deposits and withdrawals) on the platform within the coming months. This move is expected to further boost the popularity of DigiByte on the platform.
In addition to DigiByte, Bitpanda recently added Avalanche (AVAX), Aragon (ANT), BitTorrent (BTT), Ocean Protocol (OCEAN), and DigiByte (DGB) to its trading asset list on the platform. This expansion is part of Bitpanda's commitment to providing its users with a diverse range of cryptocurrencies to trade on the platform.
The first place in the DigiByte trading competition on Bitpanda on February 24, 2021, was not publicly disclosed. This could be due to the competitive nature of the event, as the platform aims to encourage active trading among its users.
In conclusion, the DigiByte trading competition on Bitpanda was a resounding success, with numerous traders participating and winning impressive prizes. The integration of DigiByte on the platform is also expected to boost its popularity among Bitpanda users. Stay tuned for more exciting events and announcements from Bitpanda in the future.
