Drone Incursion Halts Brønnøysund Airport Operations Temporarily
Brønnøysund Airport in Norway temporarily halted operations on September 30 due to an unknown drone incursion. The airport tower spotted the drone at 9:50 p.m., leading to the suspension of flights. Despite the unexpected incident, the last scheduled flight managed to land safely at the airport. Operations resumed the following morning. Police responded to the reports and conducted a search for the drone copilot, but unfortunately, no one was located. The operation was eventually called off, leaving the drone incident unsolved. The name of the pilot affected by the drone incident has not been publicly disclosed. Brønnøysund Airport has since returned to normal operations, with no further disruptions reported.
