Elon Musk expresses readiness to depart from the White House

News Flash: Elon Musk, tech guru and visionary, reportedly intimates a decision to step back from his government role following a barrage of alleged left-wing hostilities.

Meanwhile, Musk remains unfazed about the DOGE project, as his team maintains their footing within federal agencies. An anonymous White House staffer claims that the department has achieved "historic success" under Musk's guidance.

Developed by ex-President Donald Trump's mandate, DOGE was created to curb excessive spending and modernize federal agencies. Speaker Mike Johnson stated that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has exposed hidden expenses that were never sanctioned by Congress.

Democratic House members petitioned Trump for Musk's removal from his post after 130 days, asserting that they won't tolerate his return within a year without relinquishing his business ventures, such as Tesla and SpaceX [1].

According to Axios, Musk's tenure as a special government employee comes to a close this May, though it remains unclear if an extension is on the cards.

As reported by Politico, President Trump informed his cabinet in late March that Musk would vacate the White House and rejoin the corporate world in the near future [2]. One source hinted that Musk might retain an informal consulting position, while another warned against underestimating the bond between the President and a tech titan like Musk.
