Evening soiree in Fulda enriched - Financial literacy combined with al fresco cinema screening
On August 8, 2025, VR Bank Fulda hosted a special event titled "YoungFinance x Wiesenflimmern" for customers aged between 18 and 30. The event, which commenced at 4 PM, was held at the picturesque Hannheinehof in Fulda-Niederrode, known for the "Wiesenkiez" sparkling water brand.
The event combined financial learning with the enchanting atmosphere of an outdoor cinema ("Wiesenflimmern"). It aimed to facilitate entry into financial topics and overcome potential barriers for young people, providing them with practical knowledge and the opportunity to ask questions.
Erlinda Asanaj from the YoungFinance team welcomed guests and introduced the program. David Horn and Noé-Li Schwab presented key fundamentals about stocks, ETFs, and modern banking in an understandable, practical, and approachable way. Lucia Bleuel's team, known for providing honest, eye-level advice about financial topics, whether in the bank or via WhatsApp, was also present to offer support.
The banking app presented by Cora Dücker allows young people to manage their finances easily, mobile, and independently. The app was designed to cater to the needs of this demographic, making financial management more accessible and convenient.
As the sun began to set, the event transitioned into an open-air film evening under a summery mood and under the open sky. The theme of the films shown during the film evening was "Bittersweet". Many guests engaged in conversation with the YoungFinance team during the film evening, making it a memorable and informative experience.
