SkillOnNet extends partnership with Habanero to Brazil, tapping into the fast-growing iGaming market

SkillOnNet, a leading online casino operator, has expanded its collaboration with game developer Habanero, bringing the latter's popular slots to its newly launched platforms in Brazil. The move follows Brazil's launch of its regulated iGaming market on January 1, 2025, and the market's projected revenue of $2.9 billion this year.

Players in Brazil can now access Habanero titles such as Hot Hot Fruit, Love & Riches Eldorado, and the progressive Jackpot Race series through SkillOnNet's sites, PlayUZU.bet.br and BacanaPlay.bet.br.The partnership, which first began in 2024, allows players across SkillOnNet's online casino brands to enjoy Habanero's extensive game library.

Arcangelo Lonoce, Head of Business Development at Habanero, expressed delight at the expansion of their partnership: "We are extremely pleased to extend our partnership with SkillOnNet to Brazil and further boost our collaboration. As one of the most anticipated market openings in a number of years, it has been a key focus for us."

SkillOnNet was one of the first casino operators to receive a license in Brazil's newly regulated space, positioning itself to benefit from increasing demand for premium slots and localized content.

Brazil's new iGaming regulations have attracted other global players as well. Flutter Entertainment, owner of FanDuel, recently acquired a stake in NSX Group, giving it a direct entry into Brazil's regulated betting market.

Brazil's iGaming market has shown strong growth potential, with 42.5 million unique users and a projected GGR of R$29 billion (US$5.15 billion) by 2026. The market ranks third globally in betting site consumption, with a 281% increase in consumption time since 2019.

Operators, however, face regulatory challenges, as the system struggles to keep pace with the rapid expansion of operator registrations. Nonetheless, the market's growth prospects remain promising, and the focus of industry players such as SkillOnNet and Habanero on seizing opportunities in Brazil's booming market underlines the trend.
