In the heart of Mexico City, the latest addition to the LAVO family boasts an exceptional audio system, a collaboration between 1 SOUND, Tao Group, and integrator NTX. This partnership marks another step in 1 SOUND and Tao Group's global expansion, as they bring their renowned sound system to the vibrant city.
At the core of the audio setup is the Cannon Series loudspeakers and FSUB45 subwoofers. A total of 30 Cannon C5i loudspeakers have been strategically placed throughout the venue, chosen for their high output and compact form, ensuring clear, intelligible sound even at low levels. Smaller areas of the venue have been equipped with Cannon C4s, providing appropriate sound coverage tailored to each space.
To bolster the system's low-frequency capabilities, 16 FSUB45 subwoofers and 2 MiniSUB5 units have been added. The FSUB45 subwoofers offer deep, balanced low-frequency sound, while the MiniSUB5, a 5-inch passive subwoofer, provides subtle low-frequency reinforcement in a small footprint.
The primary focus of the audio setup is to create a sonic ambiance that fills the room without overpowering conversation, offering clarity and minimal distortion. The sound setup complements the upscale interiors and accommodates a smooth auditory experience from dinner through late-night hours, lowering ear fatigue and supporting guest comfort and engagement.
The colour of the C5 loudspeakers matched the walls at LAVO Mexico City, eliminating the need for a custom finish. This attention to detail reflects the close working relationship between the LAVO design team, NTX, and the project architects. NTX had previously collaborated with the LAVO design team on other projects, ensuring a cohesive sonic identity across all LAVO venues.
The audio setup at LAVO Mexico City continues to prioritise clarity, design, and the guest experience, making it an easy decision for the team. The music at LAVO Mexico City doesn't fight conversations, filling the room in a way that guests can feel without causing ear fatigue. This installation is another instance of NTX turning to the Cannon Series for an audio solution, demonstrating the reliability and quality of the equipment.
