EyeROV Secures Rs 47 Crore Deal with Indian Navy for Advanced UWROVs

EyeROV, a leading defense-tech startup, has secured a significant contract with the Indian Navy. The deal, worth Rs 47 crore, involves the supply of advanced Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicles (UWROVs). This marks a significant milestone for the company and a boost for India's deep-tech defense innovation.

EyeROV's flagship product, the EyeROV TROUT, will be supplied under this contract. This 300-meter depth-rated military-grade ROV is designed for both defense and commercial applications. It can perform underwater surveillance and reconnaissance missions, aiding in naval environment monitoring.

The Indian Navy's decision to opt for EyeROV's indigenous technology reflects its commitment to strengthening capabilities with homegrown solutions. The contract aims to bolster India's naval prowess with cutting-edge, domestically developed technology.

EyeROV's UWROVs have already proven their mettle in challenging conditions. They have been tested at depths beyond 400 meters and in the frigid Antarctic Sea. The company has completed over 100 deployments across India, West Asia, APAC, and Europe, serving customers like DRDO and the Indian Coast Guard.

EyeROV's Rs 47 crore contract with the Indian Navy is a testament to the company's innovative prowess and the potential of India's defense deep-tech sector.
