Former Navy Diver Aneirin Flynn Named New CEO of FailSafe

Aneirin Flynn, a former Navy diver and ex-Chief Business Officer of Ethlas, has taken the helm as the new CEO of FailSafe. The company, established in 2016, specialises in protecting digital assets and smart contracts from Web3 cyberattacks in real-time.

FailSafe's innovative firewall goes beyond traditional blockchain audits, offering active protection against hacks and scams. Flynn, who brings a wealth of experience from his navy diving days, believes his background has shaped his risk appetite for the Web3 space.

In his latest appearance, Flynn was the guest at the first iteration of Blockcast, hosted by Takatoshi Shibayama, Copper's Head of Revenue APAC. During the session, Flynn reflected on his deep-sea diving experiences and how they have influenced his approach to cybersecurity in the Web3 realm.
