FreeWire & GM Energy Team Up to Revolutionise EV Charging for GM Envolve Fleets

FreeWire Technologies, a pioneer in ultra-fast EV charging, has teamed up with GM Energy to revolutionise charging infrastructure for GM Envolve fleets and commercial customers. The collaboration, set to begin in early 2024, will provide a seamless energy transition package, combining vehicles with tailored charging solutions.

FreeWire's innovative 'Boost Charger' can be installed swiftly, typically within days, without the need for expensive construction work or electrical upgrades. This makes it an ideal solution for customers facing limitations in on-site energy, construction timelines, or rental property installations. The company's products bridge the gap between legacy infrastructure and future technology, serving Fortune 100 companies, commercial customers, and fleets across North America and Europe.

Arcady Sosinov, CEO and founder of FreeWire, commended GM Energy's efforts in driving the national energy transition. The collaboration will enable GM Envolve to offer commercial customers a comprehensive, turnkey energy transition package, including vehicles and customised charging solutions.

FreeWire Technologies, founded in 2014, is renowned for its ultrafast EV charging and energy management solutions. The company's ability to deploy ultra-fast charging solutions quickly, with minimal infrastructure upgrades, is set to significantly accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles, starting with GM Envolve fleets and commercial customers nationwide from spring 2024.
