Freshpet Names Ivan Garcia as Interim CFO
Freshpet Inc. has appointed Ivan Cornejo as Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective October 17, 2025. The company has also confirmed its fiscal 2025 guidance, as previously stated on August 4, 2025.
Ivan Cornejo, who has been with Freshpet since 2014, will take over from Todd Cunfer, who is stepping down. Cornejo holds a B.S. in Accounting and Business/Management from Montclair State University and has served as Vice President of Finance since July 2023. Billy Cyr, Freshpet's CEO, expressed confidence in Cornejo's leadership.
Freshpet has begun an external search for a permanent successor to the CFO position. Cunfer will remain with the company until October 17, 2025 to ensure a smooth transition.
Ivan Cornejo's appointment as Interim CFO reflects Freshpet's commitment to internal growth and development. The company's fiscal 2025 guidance remains unchanged, indicating confidence in its financial prospects.
