E-commerce Brands Gain Autonomous Edge with Agent Foundry

Agent Foundry, a proprietary platform developed by Graas.ai, is revolutionizing the e-commerce landscape by offering brands a suite of intelligent, autonomous AI agents. These agents are designed to optimize key business areas such as customer acquisition costs, price optimization, inventory control, and margin protection.

According to Prem Bhatia, Co-founder and CEO of Graas.ai, Agent Foundry allows brands to act on the data backbone built by Graas.ai. The platform integrates with over 100 platforms, including marketplaces, D2C websites, and advertising channels across India and Southeast Asia, supporting over 2,000 brands and managing more than $1 billion in gross merchandise value.

Key capabilities of Agent Foundry include multi-agent frameworks, real-time analytics and action, and distinct agents with specialized functions. The platform enables brands to deploy bespoke AI agents tailored to solve specific commerce problems with domain expertise and advanced decision-making.

Some of the distinct agents within Agent Foundry include:

  • Hoppr, an in-house analyst that tracks SKU-level, gross merchandise volume (GMV), and campaign performance.
  • Cartlyst, which processes unstructured B2B order inputs (handwritten notes, voice, WhatsApp) into structured orders using optical recognition and automation.
  • Chattr, an AI-driven customer support agent built to improve sales conversions via natural language processing.
  • Turbo, which unifies sales, advertising, inventory, and operations data into a consolidated view.
  • Extract, delivering cleaned and structured datasets to tools like Google Sheets or databases for data engineers.

Unlike traditional AI copilots or static dashboards, Agent Foundry’s agents are designed to "run the play" by not just providing recommendations but also executing optimizations autonomously, thereby transforming fragmented and manual workflows into seamless automation.

Jinesh Patel, Managing Partner at Integra Partners, backed Graas.ai in 2022, seeing the potential for data to become the primary driver of decision-making in e-commerce. Murli Ravi, Managing Partner at Tin Men Capital, believes Graas.ai is uniquely positioned to lead the shift towards agent-led systems in Southeast Asia and India.

Graas.ai, founded in 2022 by Prem Bhatia and Ashwin Puri in Singapore, secured over USD 9 million in a pre-Series B funding round. The funding round was led by Tin Men Capital, with participation from Incred Wealth, Orzon, Integra Partners, and Yuj Ventures. The funds will be used to launch Agent Foundry in India.
