Global marine and climate research collaboration to be boosted through partnership between the United Nations DCC-OCC and Elsevier
The United Nations Decade Collaborative Center on Ocean-Climate Nexus and Coordination Amongst Decade Implementing Partners in P.R. China (DCC-OCC) has entered into a significant partnership with global academic publishing leader Elsevier. The partnership, which was officially announced through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing, aims to foster comprehensive and in-depth collaboration in marine climate research, global scientific training, and public education.
Fangli Qiao, Director of the DCC-OCC, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, stating that it will open a new chapter in marine and climate science research cooperation. Sun Yan, Managing Director of Elsevier's Journals Department in China, echoed this sentiment, expressing Elsevier's belief that the partnership will deepen marine and climate science research and global ocean governance.
