Hall Technologies obtains Atlona's product line
In a strategic move aimed at bolstering its position in the professional audio-visual (AV) industry, Hall Technologies has announced the acquisition of Atlona's product portfolio from Panduit. The integration of these two renowned brands is set to create a stronger global AV leader, with enhanced product innovation and expanded market reach.
Atlona will now operate as a division of Hall Technologies, uniting decades of engineering excellence and customer-focused innovation from both companies into one comprehensive AV technology and service powerhouse. Hall Technologies will immerse Atlona’s well-established AV-over-IP, collaboration, and signal routing solutions into its existing product ecosystem, broadening the overall product portfolio significantly.
Thorsten Goecke, General Manager of Atlona International, expressed his excitement about the acquisition, stating that joining forces with Hall Technologies would create even greater value for customers worldwide. Goecke, who has been promoted to oversee strategy and business operations outside North America, is dedicated to integrating and expanding Atlona’s international presence.
Ken Eagle, CEO of Hall Technologies, shared similar sentiments, expressing excitement about building on Atlona's legacy and continuing to drive progress in professional AV technology. Eagle, who previously worked at Atlona, expressed his joy at returning to the company he had missed since leaving.
The integration aims to expand Hall Technologies' global footprint and enhance R&D capabilities, accelerating the vision of delivering seamless, end-to-end AV experiences across industries including enterprise, education, government, medical, and hospitality markets. Existing Atlona customers, partners, and products will continue to receive support without disruption, underscoring Hall’s commitment to service continuity.
Larger matrix products, extension products, and UCC-type products will migrate into the Atlona portfolio, while Hall Technologies will primarily focus on patient monitoring products, monitors, signal extension, and management solutions. The transition of overlapping product lines from Hall Technologies to Atlona will begin in 2026.
The acquisition represents a major milestone in Hall Technologies' growth strategy, aiming to build on Atlona’s legacy of innovation and engineering excellence to deliver even more value, flexibility, and forward-looking AV solutions worldwide. Customers will have equal access to both brands as products convert to Atlona, with the Atlona brand continuing to exist alongside the Hall Technologies brand.
Hall Technologies believes the acquisition of Atlona will help drive progress in professional AV technology, and a training tour is currently underway for Atlona this year to ensure a smooth transition for customers and partners alike.
