Hires ex-executive from Checkout.com as their new Chief Product Officer, announces GoCardless
Shaun Puckrin, a seasoned payments industry veteran with over two decades of experience in product leadership, has joined GoCardless as its new Chief Product Officer (CPO).
Puckrin brings a wealth of expertise to GoCardless, having previously held senior positions at Worldpay, Checkout.com, GPS (now Thredd), and Nested. At Worldpay, he made significant strides, processing over 12 million payments and improving chargeback win rates from 55% to 75% through innovative solutions like Protect+ and Instant Bank Pay for faster on-demand repayments.
In his most recent role at Checkout.com, Puckrin served as the senior vice president of product, where he launched new product lines and led product expansion across various regions, including Japan, the US, Canada, and MENA. He also oversaw a team of product managers and was responsible for core payment products like card acquiring, issuing, and authentication.
