HPE Juniper Unveils Major Mist AI Update for Self-Driving Networks
HPE Juniper Networking has rolled out a significant update to its Mist AI platform, the first since acquiring Juniper in July. The renewal focuses on enhancing 'self-driving' capabilities for enterprise, branch, and data center networks. The head of product and solutions marketing at HPE Juniper Networking, whose name is unavailable, has explained these updates.
The update centers around agentic AI, aiming to make networks more autonomous. Marvis Actions enables IT teams to select specific issues for automatic resolution, reducing human intervention. Additionally, Marvis Minis, digital twins that mimic connections, are now available to proactively identify potential problems.
The latest Marvis enhancements showcase HPE Juniper's swift progress following the completion of the DOJ's review of the $14 billion acquisition. Notably, Marvis AI is now integrated with Juniper's Apstra platform, providing better data center intelligence and predictive troubleshooting. IT teams can now ask Marvis context-based questions, like 'Why is the Orlando site slow?', and receive suggested fixes.
The renewed Mist AI platform demonstrates HPE Juniper's commitment to leading the market in AI-driven, self-driving networking capabilities. Customers are already experiencing improved operational experiences and better end-user benefits. With these updates, HPE Juniper continues to push the boundaries of autonomous networking.
