Inkas Unveils Armored Defender Octa Edition One: Luxury Meets Protection
INKAS, the renowned armored vehicle manufacturer, has unveiled the Inkas Armored Defender Okta Edition One. This luxury SUV is now available to order, offering customizable levels of armoring for various Defender variants at an undisclosed price.
The Inkas Defender Okta Edition One boasts exceptional protection, certified to BR6 standards. It can withstand 7.62 mm assault rifle fire and up to two DM51 hand grenade blasts. The vehicle's exterior features steel armor add-ons, multi-layer ballistic glass, reinforced hinges, and overlapping armored door seams. The fuel tank casing is strengthened, and it comes with special runflat wheels with polycarbonate inserts.
The interior remains largely untouched, offering optional features such as an oxygen filtration system, door assist mechanism, extra cameras, night vision, LED strobe lights, a siren, an intercom, and a roof escape hatch. Despite its robust protection, the most powerful version of the Defender retains impressive performance. Its twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine generates 626 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque, propelling it from 0-60 mph in just 3.8 seconds.
