In an exciting development, Silhouette has unveiled its latest update, packed with a multitude of new features designed to elevate your rotoscoping and paint workflows.
This update boasts hundreds of nodes and thousands of presets, offering a vast array of creative possibilities. Among the new additions, you'll find PowerMesh Warp, advanced compositing nodes, and the integrated Mocha Pro node. The latter enables the use of PowerMesh, AdjustTrack, and a host of other tools, streamlining your workflow and enhancing your creative capabilities.
The Mocha Pro node also connects to native roto and paint with new data connections, node actions, and PowerMesh Warp, providing a seamless integration of these powerful tools.
Silhouette's update also focuses on final VFX shot delivery, offering 400+ effects and image processing nodes for finishing shots within the application. Sapphire, Particle Illusion, Beauty Studio, Magic Sharp, and more are now at your disposal, ready to bring your vision to life.
Particle Illusion, with its extensive preset library, can be combined with Sapphire for a wide range of effects, including dust, smoke, fire, and explosions. Sapphire's high-end lighting effects can also be used to relight a scene within Silhouette, further expanding your creative potential.
The update also features optimized M1 support and OCIO v2 color management, ensuring faster speeds and smoother workflows. Silhouette is available as a standalone application and/or Adobe/OFX plugin, offering flexibility to suit your needs.
Current Silhouette subscribers and those on upgrade & support plans can download the update for free. For new users, a 15-day free trial is available. Purchase options include a permanent license, upgrades, and annual/monthly subscriptions.
This update also introduces enhanced rotoscoping techniques for athletes performing running, jumping, and swimming motions, as well as new visual effects such as moiré backlighting for laser effects.
