Jaguar's Type 00 Concept Dazzles Paris in French Ultramarine

Jaguar's Type 00 Concept, originally revealed in vibrant Miami Pink and London Blue, made a striking appearance in Paris in a sleek French Ultramarine hue. The concept car, set to influence the brand's next era, was driven under its own power by Irish actor Barry Keoghan.

The electrically powered Gran Turismo, planned for release by 2025, is a collaborative effort between Jaguar and Polestar. Jaguar's development team is meticulously fine-tuning the EV's dynamics to ensure it remains engaging for long drives. The upcoming GT can channel the Type 00's radical design into a luxury performance sedan, with the concept's bold design cues set to shape the brand's future.

The GT has already demonstrated impressive capabilities, reaching speeds of 258km/h during testing at Jaguar's Gaydon facility. It targets an impressive range of 692km and a peak output of 735kW. The Type 00 Concept showcased its distinctive silver-accented lower body and signature alloy wheels during its Paris drive, hinting at the design direction of the production model.

Jaguar's first production electric model, a four-door GT, is confirmed for a late 2025 launch. The upcoming GT, influenced by the Type 00 Concept, is expected to deliver both luxury and performance, with impressive range and power capabilities. The real-world Paris appearance of the Type 00 Concept signals the brand's commitment to its electric future.
