Kamchatka Villages Get High-Speed Internet Boost

Residents of Karaaga, Tymlat, and Kostroma villages in Kamchatka Krai's Karaginsky District have experienced a significant upgrade in their internet connectivity. Over 800 locals now enjoy high-speed internet access thanks to GPON technology, transforming their digital experience and improving daily life.

Rostelecom, the company behind this project, has successfully installed a fiber-optic communication line and distribution networks across the district. This infrastructure allows residents to simultaneously use multiple devices without interruptions, a luxury previously unavailable.

High-speed internet opens doors to numerous digital services. Locals can now participate in video lessons, access the Unified Portal of State Services, and connect to entertainment platforms like Wink. Large files can be downloaded swiftly and smoothly, enhancing productivity and leisure time.

The completion of this project marks a significant step forward for the Karaginsky District. With high-speed internet, residents can now fully embrace the digital age, accessing vital services and entertainment seamlessly. Rostelecom's efforts have not only improved connectivity but also the overall quality of life for over 800 villagers.
