Nintendo Switch Online Expands Offerings for Subscribers
In February 2023, Nintendo made significant strides in enhancing the value of its Nintendo Switch Online (NSO) service. The updates, which include new retro game libraries, exclusive content, and a Missions & Rewards system, aim to provide an even more engaging experience for subscribers.
Starting from February 2023, the standard NSO service now includes Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance titles, expanding the Nintendo Classics library accessible to base NSO subscribers.

Since April 2022, NSO members can access a "Missions & Rewards" feature through the Switch interface. Other features for all NSO members include online multiplayer functionality for Switch games, cloud save backups for supported games, voice chat using a smartphone app, special profile pictures, and access to the Nintendo Music streaming app, allowing members to listen to thousands of Nintendo game tracks on smartphones.
