Lawo Expands HOME Apps Platform with Nine New Processing Apps at IBC 2024
Lawo AG, a leading innovator in broadcast and production technology, has expanded its HOME Apps platform. The company's CEO, Philipp Lawo, unveiled nine new processing apps, including the first audio app, HOME mc2 DSP, at the IBC 2024 conference.
The new apps join the existing suite, which includes HOME Multiviewer, HOME UDX Converter, HOME Stream Transcoder, HOME Graphic Inserter, HOME Test Pattern/Test Tone Generator, HOME Color Corrector, HOME Timecode Generator, and HOME Delay. All apps can be configured and shared among locations using Lawo's intuitive HOME management platform. This platform offers benefits such as seamless scaling, quick feature expansion, instant start/stop of apps, and intuitive assembly of processing blocks. Additionally, Flex Subscriptions can unlock optional functionality on .edge and within HOME itself.
With the expansion, Lawo's HOME Apps platform now hosts a total of nine essential processing apps, doubling the previous offering. The company recommends licensing HOME Apps through Lawo Flex Subscriptions for access to all existing and future apps on a fixed budget. These updates were announced at the IBC 2024 conference, demonstrating Lawo's commitment to innovation and growth in the broadcast and production industry.
