Mazda's New EV, EZ-60, Starts at $16,800 in China

Mazda has introduced its second electric vehicle in China, the midsize SUV EZ-60. Prices start at an affordable 119,900 yuan ($16,800) for the range-extended model.

The EZ-60 offers both pure electric and range-extended hybrid power. The EV version uses a 255 hp motor and a 77.94 kWh battery, providing up to 373 miles of range. The Max trim, with a 77.9 kWh pack, also achieves 373 miles of CLTC range.

The range-extended model is available in Pro and Max guise, starting at 129,900 yuan ($18,200) and 138,900 yuan ($19,500) respectively. Pure EV models start at 139,900 yuan ($19,600) for the Base, 149,900 yuan ($21,000) for the Pro, and 160,900 yuan ($22,600) for the Max trim.

The Mazda EZ-60, launched in China in September 2025, will be exported to select global markets, including Europe as the CX-6e starting in 2026. Currently, Europe is the only confirmed HBO Max market.
