Mercedes-Benz Unveils Vision V: The Luxury Electric Van of the Future

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the Vision V, a revolutionary electric van that sets new benchmarks in design, comfort, and user experience for future electric vans on the VAN.EA platform. This concept redefines the next-generation V-Class as a luxurious, fully electric limousine, positioning it as a status symbol for the executive class.

The Vision V is built on the upcoming Van Electric Architecture (VAN.EA) platform, which will underpin a range of electric vans from 2026, catering to various needs from entry-level family hauliers to chauffeur-driven limousines. The interior is a sanctuary of luxury, trimmed in crystal white Nappa leather, white silk, and open-pore burr wood, evoking a lounge-like atmosphere.

Passengers can enjoy immersive digital experiences, including a 65-inch retractable 4K cinema screen and 42 speakers for an unforgettable journey. The exterior is sculpted with a dynamic light show, an iconic Mercedes star, and over 450 3D louvres that function as taillights and brake lights. Interactive experiences such as augmented-reality navigation and in-transit shopping through the side windows further enhance the passenger experience.

The Vision V, led by the Head of Mercedes-Benz Vans, is more than a design study. It sets standards for future electric vans, offering immersive digital experiences, executive-class comfort, and a new design language. With the VAN.EA platform supporting a range of electric vans from 2026, the Vision V signals an exciting future for Mercedes-Benz in the electric van segment.
