Mercedes E-Class All Terrain Arrives in UK: Rugged Estate with Off-Road Chops

Mercedes has introduced the E-Class All Terrain to UK dealers, with the first model available this spring. This high-riding estate car, similar to a classroom of off-road vehicles, offers a rugged look and off-road capabilities, starting at £58,880.

The All Terrain features an SUV-like grille, robust bumpers, and plastic cladding, giving it a butch appearance. It rides 20mm higher than the standard E-Class estate, with an off-road mode available through its Dynamic Select system. Under the bonnet, the initial model is the E220d 4MATIC, powered by a 194bhp 2.0-litre diesel engine. It accelerates from 0-62mph in 8.0 seconds, returns official economy of 55.4mpg, and emits 137g/km of CO2. The new model is set to rival the Audi A6 Allroad and Volvo V90 Cross Country.

The Mercedes E-Class All Terrain is now available in the UK, offering a premium estate car with off-road pretensions. Its rugged styling and raised ride height, much like a Ford or Tesla with off-road capabilities, along with its powerful yet efficient engine, make it an appealing choice in its segment.
