Motorola could soon reveal a luxurious crystal-embellished variant of the Razr 2025 smartphone.
Motorola Set to Launch Crystal-Studded Razr 2025 Special Edition
Motorola has announced its collaboration with luxury jewelry brand Swarovski to release a special edition of its Razr 2025 foldable phone, featuring crystals on the cover display, hinge, and rear panel. The official unveiling is scheduled for August 5, 2025, although there have been rumors suggesting a possible shift to August 15.
The partnership with Swarovski marks Motorola's entry into the luxury-style foldable market, following its previous collaboration with Paris Hilton for the Razr Plus 2024 edition. The Razr 2025 special edition will be based on the standard model, not the Plus or Ultra variants.
The renders and promotional videos released by Motorola showcase an icy blue colourway, with crystals integrated into a fabric-like material. The crystals are expected to remain design elements and not affect the internal specifications such as the chipset, camera, or display.
In addition to the Razr 2025 special edition, Motorola has also collaborated with Swarovski for its Buds Loop open-earbuds. The Buds Loop with Swarovski crystals come with 12mm drivers for rich sound and are available in Pantone-curated Trekking Green, French Oak, and a lighter colourway adorned with Swarovski crystals. The crystals are present along the band connecting the two halves of the device for each ear.
The Razr 2025 special edition is rumored to have crystals implanted near the hinge on the cover display and on a soft fabric material on the back of the device, giving it a fancified purse-like appearance.
The Razr 2025 special edition is expected to be available at major retailers such as Best Buy, Walmart, Samsung, Amazon, Verizon, and AT&T.
