MTN Group Names David Behr as the New Chief Officer for Enterprise Business
In a strategic move to bolster its enterprise business operations, MTN Group has announced the appointment of David Behr as its new Group Chief Enterprise Business Officer, effective 1st July 2025. Behr brings over two decades of leadership experience in telecommunications and technology, having held senior roles across multiple geographies. His impressive career includes stints as CEO of Liquid C2 and Cloudmania, as well as Group Chief Product Officer and Group Chief Digital Officer of Liquid Telecommunications. Notably, before his current appointment, Behr served as the CEO of MTN Converged Solutions, where he led portfolio transformation in key markets.
The consolidation of the Enterprise Business function is a significant part of MTN's strategic work initiated earlier this year to streamline commercial operations. This consolidation has created a single, streamlined structure for the Enterprise Business function, positioning MTN to more effectively deliver comprehensive, end-to-end enterprise solutions. The integration aims to drive Commercial Excellence by improving alignment across Go-To-Market channels and strengthening synergies across functions.
Behr's extensive experience will be instrumental in overseeing the growth and execution of MTN's enterprise strategy, including voice and data services and next-generation solutions like IoT, unified communications, and cloud. His remit spans all MTN operating companies, with a focus on strengthening the Group's product portfolio and expanding its capabilities in managed services and system integration.
