Nike partners with designer Tomo Koizumi to bring a vibrant revamp to the Air Superfly line
The sportswear giant, Nike, is set to release the latest addition to its lineup - the Nike Air Superfly. The global launch is scheduled for September 20th, exclusively available via SNKRS and select retailers.
However, sports enthusiasts in Japan will get an early peek on September 19, as Dover Street Market Ginza and select stores unveil the Nike Air Superfly.
This unique sneaker marks a significant collaboration between Nike and Japanese fashion designer, Tomo Koizumi. Koizumi, known for his bright and artistic designs, first teamed up with Nike in September 2025, debuting a bold, vibrant expression of the Air Superfly.
The Nike Air Superfly is more than just a sports shoe; it's a symbol of powerful femininity, performance, and self-expression. The outsole, reminiscent of early 2000s track spikes, sports a multicoloured pattern.
Tomo Koizumi's signature flair is evident in the interchangeable Swooshes of the Nike Air Superfly. One Swoosh is multicoloured, while the other is black with ruffles, adding a unique touch to this innovative sneaker.
The Nike Air Superfly also boasts lenticular materials that change the shoe's hue based on light, offering a dynamic visual experience. Moreover, the sneaker provides lace options that allow for adjusting the look's volume, providing wearers with a personalised touch.
The Nike Air Superfly campaign features athletes Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Masai Russell, and Arie Aoki, embodying the shoe's ethos of performance, empowerment, and self-expression.
Stay tuned as the Nike Air Superfly makes its grand entrance on September 20th, promising to redefine the boundaries of sports footwear.
