Nissan Juke Named UK's Least Reliable Car in 2025 Survey
The 2025 What Car? Reliability Survey reveals the Nissan Juke as the least reliable car in the UK, with a significant number of owners reporting issues. The Volkswagen Tiguan follows closely, while MG continues its streak at the bottom of the rankings.
The Nissan Juke's reliability score is alarmingly low, with 84% of owners reporting a fault. This is particularly concerning given that 64% of these owners had to wait over a week for repairs. Petrol car owners fared even worse, with 24% reporting a fault and three in five of these owners paying more than £1500 for repairs.
The previous-generation Kia Sportage also had its share of problems, with just over half of owners reporting issues. Notably, 20% of these were related to the powertrain. In contrast, other Nissan models like the Qashqai, X-Trail, and Leaf performed exceptionally well, scoring 95% or higher in reliability.
While MG improved its score to 88.9%, it remains the least reliable brand for the second year running. Lexus, once a reliability leader, fell to eighth place, tied with Kia. Honda retains its title as the most reliable brand, followed by Mini and Suzuki. The 2025 What Car? Reliability Survey serves as a useful guide for UK drivers seeking reliable vehicles.
