Andreas Laukenmann, o2 Privatkunden-Vorstand, sees AI as a powerful tool for everyday use, not a luxury.
ChatGPT Plus, powered by the latest GPT-5 model, promises faster reaction times and additional features like web search and image processing. o2 customers can test this service for free via the 'o2 Priority' program, accessible through the 'Mein o2 App' or web portal. After the initial free period, the service will cost €23 per month, saving customers around €69 in the first three months.
The offer is part of o2's strategy to expand access to AI tools. Andreas Laukenmann believes AI can boost creativity and productivity in daily life, work, and learning. OpenAI's Head of Consumer Partnerships, Jeremy Fine, expects more people to gain access to ChatGPT Plus through this partnership. Meanwhile, AI continues to make strides, with companies like Humain presenting AI-powered PCs at tech events like the Snapdragon Summit.
