Oppo unveils Find N3 Flip and Watch 4 Pro in China: Details on the event launch
On August 29, 2023, Chinese smartphone brand Oppo is set to unveil the Find N3 Flip, succeeding the Oppo Find N2 Flip. The launch event will occur simultaneously with the release of the Oppo Watch 4 Pro. This marks Oppo's entry into the 2023 flip smartphone market, following Motorola and Samsung. The official launch will take place at 2:30 PM Chinese local time, with streaming available on the company's official website from 12 noon IST.
Initial glance at Oppo's announcement poster hints at the phone's design, showing a triple camera setup and a small screen on the rear with an LED flash. The event will also see the introduction of the Oppo Watch 4 Pro. The Find N3 Flip is currently slated for release in China; however, global expansion may follow later.
The upcoming model, expected to be released domestically first, features a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It may also include a 3.26-inch cover AMOLED screen. Under the hood, the device could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chip paired with Mali-G715 Immortalis MP11 GPU, while Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 custom skin comes pre-installed. Storage options are anticipated to reach up to 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.
On the photography front, the Find N3 Flip could boast a 50-megapixel SonyIMX 890 primary shooter with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32-megapixel telephoto sensor. A 32-megapixel lens for selfies is also rumored. Battery capacity is speculated to be 4,300mAh, supporting 67-watt fast charging.
