PA32QCV Professional Monitor Impresses in Pre-Production Testing

The PA32QCV, a professional-grade monitor, has undergone thorough testing, revealing impressive results in grayscale, gamma, and color gamut accuracy. The monitor, calibrated using Calman software by Portrait Displays, showed exceptional performance across various modes.

The PA32QCV's grayscale and gamma tracking demonstrated average error values around 3dE, indicating a pre-production sample. Despite this, the gamma tracked perfectly in every mode, adhering to the correct values: 2.4 for BT.709 and BT.2020, 2.2 for sRGB, Adobe RGB, and Display P3, and 2.6 for Cinema P3.

In terms of color gamut accuracy, the PA32QCV performed exceptionally well, with average errors under 2dE in most cases. However, BT.2020 rendered slightly higher at 2.66dE. The gamut volume was notably high, with values above 99% for most modes. Adobe RGB and BT.2020 were the exceptions, scoring 88.22% and 72.72% respectively.

The PA32QCV, despite being an early sample, showcased remarkable performance in grayscale, gamma, and color gamut accuracy. With precise gamma tracking and high gamut volume, it's poised to be a strong contender in the professional monitor market.
