Apple has announced the launch of its latest iPhone 17 series in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with pre-orders now available for pick-up on September 19, 2025, at Apple Stores located in Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Yas Mall, and Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi.
Customers who pre-order the new iPhone 17 models can avoid the hustle and bustle of going directly to the store, as Apple's official online preorder and pickup service will allow them to collect their devices on launch day.
When an order is ready for collection, Apple's system will send a notification containing a QR code or pickup pass to the customer's email or mobile device. On arrival at the store, customers will need to present both the pickup pass and a valid form of identification to collect their iPhone.
Apple's UAE stores have been a popular destination for iPhone launches in the past, with enthusiastic fans often queuing a night prior at locations like Dubai Mall. However, the introduction of the "Pick up in Store" option aims to manage launch-day demand more efficiently.
The iPhone 17 series includes three models: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The iPhone 17 is priced at Dh3,399 with a base storage of 256GB, while the iPhone 17 Pro is priced at Dh4,699, with an upgrade in base storage. The iPhone 17 Pro Max remains unchanged in price at Dh5,099.
In addition, Apple has introduced a new model, the iPhone Air, priced at Dh4,299 and positioned where the iPhone Plus once was. The iPhone Air offers a more affordable option for customers seeking a larger screen size.
Apple's stores in the UAE have been expanded to accommodate the launch of the iPhone 17 series, with locations now including The Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Yas Mall, and Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi. Customers can collect preorders from these stores, with notifications sent when the order is ready to be collected.
